"Dear Nelson Moving Company , I wanted to write to tell you what a wonderful experience I had in using your company for my recent move. I moved from Coto De Caza, CA to Mission Viejo , CA. My actual moving date was August 29, 2009. From the initial contact by post card from Jean, I was interested in your company mostly because Jean hand wrote a note that asked me to "please call" and when I did, she was genuinely friendly and I was intrigued with her attitude about the company she worked for . It's very easy to send a mass mailing and it's also very impersonal. Jean took the time to write a note on the postcard and I liked that personal touch. My next contact was with Walt Cook. Walt was punctual , very pleasant, very "can-do" attitude and could answer my question of "what sets your company apart from the others". He said your rating with the BBB and the fact that most all of your employees are permanent, long standing employees. He didn't nickel and dime me and was able to give me a "not more than" quote right there. I enjoyed visiting with him and felt safe with what he was telling me. The next in line was Dale. Dale came a few days before the actual move and he and two others loaded my belongings in a pod for storage. They packed a few things that hadn't been packed. All the while they were there, the three of them were so polite, careful with my things and did whatever I asked them to do. They arrived on time, were timely in their work and were friendly . Again , I felt my belongings were safe in their care. The day of the move, Pedro and his group of 6 arrived exactly on time . He was extremely polite and introduced me to each of the workers. They were so respectful and carefu l. Pedro was a great manager and we were done in no time . I brought lunch for the guys and they were very grateful and picked up after themselves. Anything I asked them to do, they immediately took care of it and did so with a "no problem" attitude. I have had alot of experience moving, having moved 18 times in 38 years. I have to say this was one of the top 2 moves I've had. (The other one was a long distance move and they packed and unpacked me. ) I was not looking forward to this move at all because my last one was horrific with price gouging at the last minute when my belongings were on the truck . I am so happy to say that with the experience I had from estimating, storage and moving, this move was absolutely wonderful. Wednesday , September 09, 2009 America Online: PattiF6 ragt: L VI L.
